The following is a statement from Jayo's family:
WHERE AM I
My name is Jeremiah Rivers, but my family and friends call me Jayo I’ve been MISSING for TWO YEARS now!
My “mate” Jojo Kantilla and I wanted to get home to Darwin. So we decided to go on a road trip with 5 fellas “Matt Moore, Travis Clare, Kane Toohey, Bluey and Dicko” who we met in Balranald where I played football.
The last known sightings of me were at the roadhouse in Whitecliffs NSW at 10:30am on the Sunday morning the 17th of October by the CCTV footage. And a photo that was taken of me the following morning on the Monday the 18th of October before I went MISSING.
I HAVEN’T BEEN SEEN SINCE!!
WHERE AM I??
JoJo reckons we were all on drugs and was coming down from the drug ICE
But I looked alright in both sightings of me.
JoJo and Matt had told the story that it was just the three of us and we pulled up at Wippo Creek and we had went pig hunting in different directions with dogs. JoJo said that he and Matt got back to the camp with the dogs that they took only to find the dogs that were with me at the camp site without me. So they waited for awhile before they came looking for me.
They still haven’t reported me MISSING!..
On Tuesday the 19th of October morning JoJo and Matt drove to Noccundra hotel to get fuel. On arrival, they find the hotel manager’s and a police officer standing out front of the hotel. JoJo and Matt then suddenly panic and speeds up and drives past them. So then the police officer gets in to his car and chase them and pulls them over. It was then the two decides to tell the officer that their brother is missing (me). The officer doesn’t believe their story and sends them both back across the border. Where they then decide to call the QLD police to report me missing on the Tuesday 19th October in afternoon at 4:30pm.
It wasn’t until the 20th of October on the Wednesday morning that they finally called my family to say that I was MISSING!!
It was later that they told the police and my family that I had walked off to water my head and cool down.

THERE WERE 7 OF US TRAVELLING!!
So did two of the fellas order 7 fish and chips knowing that I was already Missing?
All while the hours that I have been missing none of the 6 travelling companions reported me MISSING!!

I WANT TO COME HOME TO MY MUM, FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT ALL LOVE & MISS ME!!
