Binybara / Lee Point is on the lands of the Kulumbirigin Danggalaba people also known as Larrakia Country, Darwin Northern Territory.

The site, known to traditional knowledge holders as 'Binybara' is under threat by development from Defence Housing Australia. 

Environment Justice Australia are representing the Batcho Family in a Cultural Heritage Application. Details here

CEO, Milillma May penned an open letter to Minister for Environment, Tanya Plibersek, calling on her to intervene and protect Binybara.

Uprising call on you to do help us in the following ways

  2. Call Minister Plibersek ((02) 9379 0700) and ask her to stop the development at Lee Point.
